PAINTING AGAIN

I recently created a few new painting on canvas paper. I am actually selling them through my etsy store . http://www.etsy.com/shop/harlanlovestone ( shameless plug)
I have posted some on the side.

I've been getting back into my art more lately. I suffered a bit of a dry spell when I returned to school a few years ago. It can be hard to work, be a student and attempt to be creative. I actually was being creative, but mostly through music not art. I find that I go through cycles where I am doing music or art, writing, or something else. Rarely am I doing all things at once. My largest complaint as an artist is that I am often pulled away from creativity simply to market my work or attempt to find grants and exhibition outlets. It's like doing two jobs at once, but it is what it is. I've been fairly tenacious of late, placing my work anywhere I can online, for people to bump into- catching up on a few years of lost marketing.

These days I'd love to go back to larger canvases, though I am not a huge fan of stretched canvases. I think I would also love to do a series of portraits in the near future. I've been pursuing investigating some grant opportunities so time will.
