OILY Loses, but Obama WINS!

Well, I am sad that my candidate Oily the Clown did not win , but he conceded with grace an humility. There is always 2012:)! But in the end even though Oily is my candidate, I too voted Barack. When they suddenly announced he was president I had just woken up from a nap. It was a shock. I thought this thing was going to be like the 2000 election ( a huge mess), taking weeks to sort out. In my heart though I always felt Obama was going to win with the huge crowds that he was drawing and his message of hope. But when it actually happened , it blew me away. I didn't realize how it would effect me until it happened. I felt humbled almost to the point of tears. It's something I was unsure would happen in my lifetime , there was a surrealness to it all. America's first black president. I haven't been that proud of my country the last 8 years, but November 4th 2008 I felt proud and I felt again...like an American!
